1 1/4" Washed rock

River rock commonly used as a decorative material in landscaping projects. Has several eco-friendly attributes, such as groundwater recharge. When used in landscaping, it allows water to percolate into the soil instead of running off into storm drains, which helps reduce runoff and erosion and maintain natural water cycles.

Applications: Flower beds, walkways and pathways, garden borders, driveways, drainage areas, decorative ground cover, mulch in rock gardens or dry river beds

3/8" Gravel

Also known as pea gravel, typically made of river rock with smooth, rounded edges caused by erosion and natural weathering. The name “pea” refers to its size—usually 3/8″ in diameter.

Concrete Products

3000 PSI Mix

3,000 PSI concrete is a popular choice for residential projects, such as driveways, sidewalks, patios, and walkways. It can also be used for general construction and is durable enough to withstand the freeze-thaw cycle of winter. 3,000 PSI concrete is strong enough to support the weight of one or two conventional vehicles, making it a practical choice for most homeowners. Here are some other uses for 3,000 PSI concrete: Foundations, Curbs and gutters, Fence posts, Post holes, and Concrete slabs for tile underlayment.

3500 PSI Mix

3,500 pounds per square inch (PSI) concrete is used for a variety of construction projects, including:

Foundations and slabs: typically used for concrete footings and slabs on grade. It’s also a good choice for slab foundations and footings where heavy loads are expected to be stored or moved, like RV pads.
Driveways and parking areas: can withstand higher levels of compressive force, making it a good choice for driveways and parking areas for heavy vehicles.
Beams and girders: used for suspended slabs, beams, and girders, which are often found in bridges.

4000 PSI Mix

Typically used in warehouses and factories where heavy traffic or machinery is expected. However, for the homeowner, 4,000 PSI can be a good option for backyard workshops or sheds, due to its strength and surface durability.

Custom Mixes

Custom concrete mixes are concrete mixes that are tailored to meet the specific requirements of a project. They can be made by combining different cementitious materials, aggregates, and admixtures to create a variety of options for density, strength, color, and shape. The desired properties of the concrete can be adjusted to meet the project’s needs, such as increased strength, quicker setting time, or enhanced durability.

SQMC uses a custom blend of cement and fly ash that enables us to meet government requirements for Eagle Pass soil acidity. We also can use fiber as cost savings on non-structural pours, eliminating the need for steel reinforcement.
