Ruben Garibay is an entrepreneur, investor and philanthropist based in South Texas. He is an advocate for the facilitation of North American commerce and trade; especially for transportation and connectivity through strategically located binational rail and truck crossings.
Early in his career, Mr. Garibay founded several other successful businesses, including A1 Collision in Laredo, Texas. He has been the recipient of several business awards and recognitions; most notably, receiving the 2006 Laredo SBA Hall of Fame award, and being named the youngest recipient of the 1999 SBA Small Businessperson of the Year for the San Antonio District at age 32.
Mr. Garibay is a strong supporter of many community and social development initiatives on both sides of the US/Mexico border. He volunteers his time at various nonprofits and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Border Trade Alliance and Texas Association of Businesses.
